Not everyone shares the same level of connection or dependency with "wild things" = the untamed wildness. Some are unaffected by the absence of such things, okay living their lives in a corporate world away from the natural untamed environment where wild adventures deeply take place. But there are others whose souls crave and require the wild aspects of life. Their souls long for wild things. Their feet take them unto un carved paths and into untamed places in search for the wild.
